Tales of Arise Save Data Transfer Added in December Update

People who started playing Tales of Arise on a PS4 or Xbox One can now take advantage of December 2021 update and transfer their save data to a PS5 or Xbox Series X. Bandai Namco released a new patch. The new upload and download option now makes it possible to pick up where you left off. It also adds a quality of life change by removing Tales of Arise DLC reminders.

Once the patch is applied, the main menu will change. On the screen, below “Download Shop,” you will see “Save Data Upload” on a PS4 or Xbox One. Choosing it lets you do a save data batch transfer in Tales of Arise.

You then can head to a PS5 or Xbox Series X. After the update, the main Tales of Arise menu will have “Save Data Download” there. This will again appear under “Download Shop.” Choosing to download will transfer over the whole save data batch. However, keep in mind that any existing save files on the PS5 and Xbox Series X will be overwritten by the new data.

Tales of Arise is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and its December 2021 update is out.
