A new Elden Ring trailer appeared during The Game Awards 2021. This was a more cinematic one. It featured the demigods’ war. It also helped establish the setting for the game and mentioning the breaking of the titular ring.
First, Godwin the Golden’s fall is shown. Then, we learn the Elden Ring was broken in the aftermath. However, during the demigods war, it turned out nobody really “won.” The trailer ends with a suggestion that the player take the crown, perhaps setting things right. The video closes with a look at the person telling us the story of the game’s world.
The storyteller speaks. Learn the history of the world of ELDEN RING, as crafted by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin.
