Birushana is the New Switch Otome Game from Idea Factory International

Idea Factory International committed to release new Switch otome games in English, and its next one is Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei. It will appear in Summer 2022. That’s about a year and a half after its Japanese debut. It will be available digitally and physically. There will also be a limited edition.

Birushana follows Shanao, heir to the Genji Clan. She carries out her duties. She also attempts to restore her clan. However, she does so while pretending she’s a man. As she goes through her story, she might fall in love with Genji Clan members Benkei, Shungen, or Yoritomo. However, she might fall for one of her enemies. Both Noritsune and Tomomori from the rival Heike Clan might be her match too.

The standard version of Birushana on the Switch is $49.99. The limited edition will be available through Idea Factory International as well. Its contents and price have yet to be revealed.

This marks the second of Idea Factory International’s new Switch otome games. The first is Cupid Parasite. It launched in November 2021. However, it also launched with some text unedited. A patch is coming to fix that. It doesn’t have a release window yet, but an update is expected on December 3, 2021.

Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei will come to the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2022. It appeared in Japan in September 2020.
