Pokemon Legends Arceus Will Have Shaymin and Pikachu & Eevee Masks

When people play Pokemon Legends Arceus, they’ll be rewarded for also playing other games. Like many Switch Pokemon games, it will read past save data. Should you link it to other games, you get access to things. In the case of Pokemon Legends Arceus, that means a Shaymin encounter and masks that look like Eevee and Pikachu.

People will have a chance to see the Land Forme of Shaymin in Pokemon Legends Arceus if they also played Pokemon Sword and Shield. After you beat the game, you can take the quest to catch it. However, before that, you can dress like Shaymin. The kimono inspired by it unlocks sooner. After you join Galaxy Expedition Team, you can wear it.

The two Pokemon Legends Arceus masks are connected to the Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! games. If that save data is present, you get a mask you can wear on top of your head. Save data from the Eevee version nets you an Eevee mask. If you played the Pikachu version, you get a Pikachu one.

As a reminder, the digital pre-order bonus for the game is 30 Heavy Balls. Physical copies include a Hisuian Growlithe Kimono Set.

Pokemon Legends Arceus will launch on the Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022.
