Sponsored by streaming service Crunchyroll, Anime NYC was inaugurated in 2017. It takes place each year at the Javits Center in New York City. In 2020, Anime NYC went online-only, owing to safety concerns amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The convention announced a return to in-person venues for 2021, but attendees will require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to participate.
miHoYo won’t limit its Anime NYC appearance to just Genshin Impact, though. The official Tears of Themis and Honkai Impact 3rd accounts also confirmed that limited merchandise and freebies will be available at miHoYo’s exhibit. The items promoted include free postcards, bags, and badges. It is unknown if HoYo Fest will extend to having collaboration cafes as it will in Southeast Asia, though.
miHoYo will be present at Anime NYC, which kicks off on November 19-21, 2021. It will be located at Booth 626, Hall 3E, within the Javits Center. Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile platforms, while Honkai Impact is on mobile and PC. Tears of Themis is on mobile platforms.
