Persona 5 Christmas Cakes Return in Japan for 2021

Persona 5 Christmas cakes are back for 2021 following successful sales in 2019 and 2020. These themed cakes will come in eighteen different designs. They will be sold by the custom cake company Priroll Bakery. Each cake will cost ¥5,130 (about $45). They will come in two flavors: whipped cream (with strawberries) or chocolate cream (with strawberries). Each cake will come with a tin pin badge decorated with the same design as the chosen cake.

The Persona 5 Christmas cakes are available to order through Priroll’s website until midnight on November 10, 2021. While each character from Persona 5 makes an appearance, Persona 5 Royal‘s Kasumi Yoshizawa is not included this year. She also didn’t appear in the 2020 Christmas cake lineup, despite Royal being released in 2019. Delivery will be available one week after an order is placed. The cakes will come frozen.

While Persona 5 was released five years ago, the game continues to make headlines with new merchandise and crossovers. For example, Insert Coin began selling jackets resembling the uniform worn by the game’s protagonist. A physical card game based on the Atlus title is coming in December 2021.

Persona 5 is available to play on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Persona 5 Royal is available on Playstation 4. Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight can be played on Playstation Vita or PlayStation 4, while Persona 5: Phantom Strikers is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
