People won’t be rolling out with Andy, Max, and Sami in December 2021. Nintendo announced that Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp for the Nintendo Switch is delayed. The new launch window for the North American and European release is Spring 2022. No exact release date ended up being offered.
Hello, troops! #AdvanceWars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which was set to launch on 12/3, will now release for #NintendoSwitch in spring 2022. The game just needs a little more time for fine tuning. You'll be battling with Andy & friends soon! Thanks for your patience. pic.twitter.com/dSi8VSsxTH

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, a Switch remake of the first two Advance Wars GBA games, first appeared at E3 2021. At the time, it had a December 3, 2021 release date. Nintendo also noted that it would only be available digitally through the eShop.
Later, we learned its developer would be WayForward. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems, the series’ original developer, would be weighing in and offering insight. The E3 2021 Nintendo Treehouse Live segment also showed off characters, maps, and gameplay from the first installment.
Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp will come to the Switch in North America and Europe in Spring 2022. This is the first entry since the 2008 Nintendo DS game Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.
