Limited-Time Resident Evil Village Demos Are Back

Capcom has re-released the once limited-time Resident Evil Village demos. The Resident Evil Village demo is available on all the previous platforms players could obtain it on. This includes Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 demos will be available on October 27, 2021. This information was revealed through the Resident Evil 25th Anniversary website.

However, the demo still comes with a timer. Players will have sixty minutes to play through the demo. This includes any subsequent playthroughs of the demo. The Steam page for Resident Evil Village details these stipulations in full. It also reveals that those who played the PC demo when it released in May 2021, that the time spent with the demo will carry over.

Additionally, a handful of games from the Resident Evil series will be on sale until October 31, 2021. Platforms that this applies to includes PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. Certain games will be available at a discounted price on select platforms.

In July 2021, Capcom announced that sales for Resident Evil Village had surpassed 4.5 million units worldwide. Capcom currently plans for Resident Evil Village DLC. It will reveal the details at a later date, though.

Resident Evil Village is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
