The Pokemon Unite Halloween Festival kicked off, and it turns out people can get a free Greedent during it. The squirrel-like character from Pokemon Shield and Sword joined the roster today. Rather than spend 8,000 Aeos Coins or 460 Aeos Gems on it, you can instead spend earned Pumpkins to acquire this Pokemon Unite license.
As part of the activities, you can earn Pumpkins in Pokemon Unite. You can get these in a number of ways. Some are doled out each day as a log-in bonus over a 14-day period. You can earn others by playing in Mer Stadium. There are also Pumpkin Boxes you can get as rewards that include more Pumpkins.
Once you have certain numbers of Pumpkins, you can trade for items. (However, you won’t be able to get every item.) The most expensive reward is Greedent at 70 Pumpkins. The cheapest is the 1 Pumpkin 1-Day Battle Point Boost Card. You can also trade for a Pumpkin Box, Unite snapshot background, frame, pose, or sticker. The Pointed Hat (Halloween) is another Pumpkin reward.
As for what to expect from Greedent, here’s the official character description for the new Pokemon Unite Defender.
