SMT V demons Barong and Leanan Sidhe

The Next SMT V Demons are Barong and Leanan Sidhe

The next two SMT V demons are here. Atlus shared videos of two rather famous faces on October 11, 2021. Each one’s appeared in multiple Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, and even Devil Survivor games. Now, people can see how Barong and Leanan Sidhe will behave in SMT V.

Barong comes from Indonesian mythology. It’s known as the opponent of Rangda, who appeared in an earlier video. In its SMT V video, Barong uses both offensive electrical attacks like Maziodyne+4 and more supportive skills like Tetrakarn+1 and Marakukaja+1.

Meanwhile, Leanan Sidhe comes from Celtic mythology. She is known for skills that aid and impair. This trend continues in the Leanan Sidhe SMT V video. While she does use Mamudo+3 to deal damage, she also inflicts Marin Karin+3 on foes and heals with Media+2.

Eventually, all of the 214 SMT V demons will get their own trailer. Atlus is sharing them now at a rate of two new videos per day. In case you missed some, here are the 20 that showed up before Barong and Leanan Sidhe.
