SMT V Cybele

Cybele and Aitvaras Show Up in SMT V

Most of the demons appearing in Shin Megami Tensei V are returning ones from past installments. This means Atlus’ series showing footage of them in the new entry can be something of a refresher. Which means the October 4, 2021 trailers serve as a means to see how Cybele will work when she shows up in SMT V. It also introduces a new character. Aitvaras will appear in SMT V for the first time in the series.

The SMT V video for Cybele showed up first. While most of the video shows her using abilities that deal damage to opponents, she can help the party too. For example, toward the end of her trailer she performs Mediarahan+2. People can also see the revival ability Samarecarm in her arsenal.

Meanwhile, Aitvaras is a new dragon introduced in SMT V. While the character is new, the video shows it will know familiar abilities like Maragi+3 too.

The Cybele and Aitvaras trailers put us well past the halfway point when it comes to SMT V trailers. As Atlus is now releasing two each day, this series will wrap up right as the JRPG debuts in Japan.
