Red Arcueid Melty Blood Type Lumina Appearance Confirmed

Another version of Arcueid will appear in the new Melty Blood game. The Twitter account revealed the latest character with a trailer. It turns out Red Arcueid, who appeared both in Tsukihime and the fighting spin-off, will show up again in Melty Blood Type Lumina. There’s even a brief trailer showing how she looks.

Here is the first Melty Blood Type Lumina Red Arcueid trailer. She faces off against Ciel in the example. Which is appropriate, because it calls back to Red Arcueid’s appearance in Tsukihime.

Spoilers aside, Red Arcueid in Melty Blood and Tsukihime is the “evil” version of the heroine. This is evident even in the trailer. When she first encountered Ciel, she said, “What a pretty thing you are. Let’s fix that.”

Red Arcueid is a staple for the fighting game series. She’s been part of the cast for quite some time. Like her, other returning characters who will show up in Melty Blood Type Lumina include Michael Roa Valdamjong and Miyako Arima.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 30, 2021.
