Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Free Updates to Add Characters

New playable characters will appear in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles through a series of free post-launch updates. A total of three updates will appear sometime after the title’s initial release, adding two characters per free update. More information regarding the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles free updates, and the playable characters that will accompany them, will appear sometime in the future. That said, the base game’s roster of characters has been revealed. This includes the likes of Inosuke, Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, and Rengoku. Additionally, Kimetsu Academy alternative versions of a handful of these characters will appear as playable characters.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will feature dual audio. Subtitles will also allow for selection between English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish for the global release of the title.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. It will release in Japan on October 14, 2021, and will release worldwide on October 15, 2021. Consumers who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition will be able to start playing on October 13, 2021.
