The Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster has a release date. On September 8, 2021, people will be able to get the RPG on the PC, Android devices, and Apple iOS devices. On Steam, there will also be a temporary launch discount and pre-order promotion that offers additional songs. Normally, at launch, the game will be $17.99.
As with all entries in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, FFIV will feature a number of updates. There will be all new pixel art and a rearranged soundtrack. People will also be able to listen to the soundtrack with a jukebox function, see concept art in a gallery, and go through an included bestiary from the main menu. Square Enix also confirmed that people can save anywhere during the RPG.
As for the bonus tracks, Square Enix revealed the pre-order songs that will be given out alongside two wallpapers. People will get new versions of the following three pieces of music.
- ”Battle 2 (Timelapse Remix)”
- Main Theme of Final Fantasy IV (Timelapse Remix)
- ”The Red Wings (Timelapse Remix)”
This is one of six eventual Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster entries. Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III are all available. The fifth and sixth games are also on the way. Each can be purchased separately, though on Steam there is also a $74.82 bundle that includes every game.
Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster will come to the PC via Steam and both Android and Apple iOS devices on September 8, 2021.
