The official Hololive English Twitter announced that Hololive English -Council- has been postponed until further notice. The tweet did not mention the reasons behind the delay. However, it did mention that Hololive will announce the new date as soon as they decide on one. The VTubers of Hololive English -Council- were originally going to hold their debut streams starting on August 22, 2021 at 10 AM JST.
[Debut Postponement 1/2]
We regret to inform you that the debut of hololive English -Council-, originally scheduled from 2 AM, Sunday, August 22 (JST), has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.— hololive production (English) (@hololive_En) August 21, 2021
Council is the newest generation of Hololive VTubers, with the characters representing concepts such as chaos and civilization. Tsukumo Sana (pako), Ceres Fauna (Asagi Tosaka), Ouro Kronii (WADARCO), Nanashi Mumei (Azure), and Hakos Baelz (Mika Pikazo) were all supposed to hold their debut streams at staggered times on August 22, 2021. However, due to unknown circumstances, they will launch sometime after.
Earlier this week, Cover released a trailer for the Hololive Council generation that teased the lore and backstories for the new characters. How the VTubers will integrate their characters’ stories into their streams while they’re playing video games or chatting with the audience is something that we will have to see after they properly debut.
The Hololive English -Council- VTuber debut will be held sometime in the future, though there is no release window for it yet.
