The next Pokemon Unite character is Blissey, a healer who will appear as a Supporter in the game. Both Blissey and Chansey are known for appearing in the series’ games and anime adaptations as a restorative Pokemon, often working alongside characters like Nurse Joy in Pokemon Centers. Blissey will join the Nintendo Switch version of the game on August 18, 2021.
To go along with the announcement, there’s a brief trailer showing Blissey acting as a healer in Pokemon Unite. The character’s full moveset isn’t available yet, and we don’t know if it will start out as a Chansey yet. However, we do know it will be able to buff allies’ attack speed. The first video also shows Blissey will have a ranged basic attack that lets it throw eggs at opponents. The only move confirmed and shown is the Bliss Assistance Unite Move. That makes a Blissey run to the nearest ally to help them.
Here’s the full trailer.
Blissey is an egg-cellent Supporter Pokémon with moves that heal or increase basic attack speed! Its Unite Move, Bliss Assistance, allows it to dash to an ally’s aid and protect that ally from attacks.

The first post-launch Pokemon Unite character to be added was Gardevoir. Like many members of the game’s cast, it is a ranged Attacker.
Pokemon Unite is available for the Nintendo Switch, and Blissey will be added as a healer on August 18, 2021. The game will come to mobile devices in September 2021.
