Idea Factory International Asks What Otome Games Merchandise People Want

Idea Factory International is asking for people’s opinions on otome games—specifically, merchandise for them. The company opened up a brief survey asking for feedback. Rather than asking which Otomate games people might like to see localized, it focuses on the sorts of related items they might want to see. It didn’t note if the results could influence items that appear in limited editions or if it would only have an effect on things sold at IFI’s Online Store.

Overall, it’s a rather simple survey about otome games merchandise. It first asks if people would want all of the love interests on the prospective items or only their favorites. Then, asks if people would want a chibi version of the character or the full, original character art on any items. The third item asks what sorts of accessories people would want to buy. There are 23 options, with items like acrylic standees, car decals, enamel pins, jewelry, mousepads, pillows, t-shirts, and wall scrolls mentioned. It ends by asking if people had any suggestions for additional things they’d want to own.

The next one of the Idea Factory International otome games to release will be Cupid Parasite. It follows Lynette Mirror, an advisor at a marriage agency who is actually Cupid, attempting to help five completely hopeless men find love. It will offer both a $49.99 standard and $94.99 limited editions for it, though it hasn’t revealed any of the merchandise in the more expensive LE.

Cupid Parasite will come to the Nintendo Switch in Fall 2021. The Idea Factory International otome games merchandise survey is now available.
