Nintendo shared a The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD launch trailer, and it focuses on Link and his journey to save Zelda. In this entry, the two are childhood friends who are separated. As a result, he goes from Skyloft to the Surface to save her.
The video offers a general look at both story segments and gameplay. Things begin with Link and Zelda happily living in Skyloft, airborne islands created by Hylia. However, while out flying one day, Zelda falls to the Surface. Link heads down to save her, with the help of Fi and the Goddess Sword. In so doing, he learns more about Demise, Hylia and the goddesses’ fight against him, and the world.
