Nintendo Reveals Most Downloaded Switch Games in First Half of 2021

Nintendo has revealed the most downloaded games for the Nintendo Switch during the first half of 2021. This list includes the top 30 most downloaded games. However, the list does not include the total numbers of copies downloaded during this period. Additionally, these results are strictly limited to Japan. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The top spot is occupied by Monster Hunter Rise, with Among Us taking second place. Monster Hunter Rise dominated the charts upon its release, quickly cementing itself as Capcom’s best selling single-platform title. Additionally, the title has seen several updates which have added new monsters in the game, along with more than a handful of cosmetics.

Other games on the list include Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! at third place and Super Mario World 3D + Bowser’s Fury at fourth place. The list goes on, with Human: Fall Flat in fifth place and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at sixth place. The top ten list is as follows:

  3.  Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!

Other titles that have made Nintendo’s top thirty most downloaded games for the Nintendo Switch include Animal Crossing: New Horizons and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
