Phoenixx Games has confirmed that Hyde Run will be available in Japan on July 15, 2021. Additionally, it also confirmed that a global version of the mobile game will come at a later date. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Hyde Run was initially revealed in mid-April 2021 as a mobile game made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hyde’s solo performance career. Phoenixx Games has also revealed more details on the game by publishing a new gameplay trailer on its own YouTube channel.
The trailer shows how the player guides Hyde through a three-lane course by flicking the screen in four directions. The player can also gain more points by collecting music notes, performing cool tricks, and avoiding damage.

Hyde has provided vocal songs for several video games beforehand. In addition to a solo song for Devil May Cry 5, fans will also be able to hear his singing voice in L’arc~en~ciel’s opening theme song for the upcoming online game Blue Protocol.
The singer will also distribute Hyde Run-themed towels at the 20th Orchestra Tour Hyde Roentgen 2021. The solo concert will be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido, on July 21, 2021.
Hyde Run will be available for Android and iOS mobile devices in Japan first on July 15, 2021. While Phoenixx Games also confirmed a global version of the mobile game, it will reveal the worldwide release window at a later time.
