Before any of those are released Lara Croft’s latest adventure will finally come out on other platforms. Square Enix announced Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be available on PlayStation Network and Steam on September 28.
In October, the first of five downloadable content packs will be available on all platforms. Numbers one through three add puzzles, areas, and combat scenes for Lara and the Mayan deity Totec to crack. The final two packs are character content, which let players use “other well-known videogame characters” in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Crystal Dynamics are keeping who those characters are a secret for now.
All five downloadable packs will be released by the end of December. Pricing has not been announced.
