Square Enix announced that the Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Trial Version is temporarily not working following reports the demo is corrupted. While the demo is available online via the PlayStation Store, people who download it say they are unable to play. Square Enix is working on a fix.
Here’s Square Enix’s statement regarding the Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin corrupted demo data issue.
We’re aware of issues being experienced while trying to download and play #StrangerOfParadise #FinalFantasy Origin Trial Version.
We’re working to resolve this issue and will tweet an update as soon as we can, we appreciate your patience.

It is unknown if this issue will cut into the schedule for the trial. Square Enix didn’t mention if this will influence any of its dates. As a reminder, people can download and play it between June 13-24, 2021. The survey, which lets you offer your thoughts on the experience, is available for a bit longer. People can access it via the trial’s main menu between June 13-30, 2021.
Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2022, and the demo is available on the PS5 until June 24, 2021. Square Enix will let people know when the Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin corrupted data issue is fixed via its official Twitter account.
