Jack Sparrow to Appear in Sea of Thieves Through Free Update

During the E3 2021 Xbox conference a Sea of Thieves and Pirates of the Caribbean crossover event was announced. And as one might expect, Jack Sparrow will appear in Sea of Thieves through this free update, along with several other key characters in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Players will have the opportunity to engage in debauchery and other high seas adventures alongside Jack Sparrow on June 22, 2021 through a free update.

Additionally, Davy Jones and his cursed crew will appear in the free update in some capacity. The trailer itself revealed potential areas players will explore, along with a suggested encounter between your crew and Davy Jones’. You an watch the Sea of Thieves: A Pirates’ Life update trailer below.

This isn’t the first time Jack Sparrow has appeared in a franchise as part of a crossover. Previously, Jack Sparrow, and several other key characters, appeared in Kingdom Hearts II. The character would return again in some capacity in Kingdom Hearts III through another Pirates of the Caribbean themed world.

Sea of Thieves is immediately available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Pirates of the Caribbean and Sea of Thieves crossover will include Jack Sparrow and arrive on June 22, 2021.
