First Three Minutes of Resident Evil Infinite Darkness Opening Released

The official Netflix Geeked Twitter account has shared the opening of Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, which is set in Panemstan. One of the several new characters that will appear in Resident Evil Infinite Darkness appears during these three minutes. Viewers will get a brief glimpse of the backstory that surrounds the “Hero of Panemstan,” Jason.

The footage also reveals the presence of B.O.W.’s (or bio-organic weapons) in the area. However, it doesn’t go beyond Jason and his team leaving the helicopter. Recently, Capcom revealed the Japanese voice cast for Resident Evil Infinite Darkness. Several voice actors will return to reprise their roles. Specifically, the voice talents behind Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield will return to voice their respective characters. Additionally, the voice actors that will voice several entirely new characters were also revealed.

Resident Evil Infinite Darkness takes place two years after the events of Resident Evil 4. The team that produced the previously released Resident Evil CGI films will handle production on this upcoming CGI series as well.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will release on Netflix on July 8, 2021.
