Coco held a short stream announcing her departure, though she did not disclose the reason for her graduation. Her channel will remain on YouTube, so viewers can view her past live streams and videos even after July 1. In addition, she reminds fans to remember to unsubscribe from her membership, since YouTube will continue to take money. She has also requested that fans not ask other Hololive members about her departure, as she does not wish for fans to crowd their stream chat with questions. Lastly, she wishes for everyone to remain positive, stating that as a dragon, she will continue to shine on.

Kiryu Coco debuted on December 28, 2019. She is part of Hololive’s fourth generation, along with other VTubers such as Towa Tokoyami and Kanata Amane. Coco appeared in the trailer for Hololive Alternative in her dragon form, though there is currently no news about how and if Hololive Alternative will change in the wake of her graduation.

Kiryu Coco’s graduation from Hololive is on July 1, 2021, and she will hold a final live stream starting at 20:00 JST. Fans are reminded to not ask other Hololive VTubers about Coco’s graduation.
