According to multiple reports across Twitter, Nintendo has sent out an official email survey asking if respondents would be interested in a new WarioWare game, among others. The survey specifically asked at what price point would respondents be interested in buying a new WarioWare game at. It also asked what game franchises they are a fan of. The news comes just hours after Nintendo announced its E3 2021Â Nintendo Direct presentation dates. The official survey sent out randomly to Nintendo account owners via email. Nintendo also asked respondents what franchises they were a fan of, and included a wide variety of past and current series. The list included, Big Brain Academy, Kirby, Brain Age, Luigi’s Mansion, 2D Mario, and WarioWare to name a few.
Nintendo just emailed me a survey with this as their main question… Something tells me we might see WarioWare @ #E32021 pic.twitter.com/DlOchTUrbX

Interestingly, according to the Reddit thread discussing the topic, users reported differences in the way the Nintendo survey worded the WarioWare question. Some users pointed out that their surveys showed $39.99 and $29.99 instead of $59.99, likely a tactic for Nintendo to gauge a more accurate price for the game.
The latest release in the WarioWare series was WarioWare Gold, released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2018. The series began with the release of WarioWare, Inc for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, and was a compilation of minigames that lasted several seconds each. It would go on to receive numerous spin-offs and sequels for future consoles such as the Nintendo Wii and Game Cube, as well as fighting stages referencing the game in the Super Smash Bros. series.
The E3 2021 Nintendo Direct will be held on June 15, 2021. A Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation will follow. Nintendo Direct will start at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 6pm CET, and will last roughly 40 minutes. You can also check out the full E3 2021 event schedule so far on our article about the topic.
