Kotobukiya Neku Figure

Kotobukiya TWEWY Neku Figure Poses in the Shibuya Cityscape

Kotobukiya revealed an upcoming scale figure of Neku from The World Ends With You. Kotobukiya first showed off the silhouette for the figure earlier this year, but this is our first look at the actual product. The unpainted model is still in development and Kotobukiya will reveal more news, such as the release date and price, in the future.

The Neku figure is technically for the anime and not the game. The pose is based off of the one that he strikes on the main visual, and the small high-rise buildings around him reflect the urban setting of the series. Kotobukiya will release pictures of the painted figure when it is finished and a release date is confirmed.

Square Enix will also release figures based off of The World Ends With You: The Animation. Shiki and Neku will release in September 2019 and will cost $24.99 each. Though the size of the Kotobukiya figure is still unknown, the Square Enix figures will be around nine inches tall and six inches wide.

After years of silence on the franchise, Square Enix has revived The World Ends With You with a sequel game on the Nintendo Switch and an anime series. The OST will release on June 30, 2021, and the show is readily available on streaming services such as Funimation. In addition, the Switch game NEO: The World Ends With You is releasing soon. It will launch for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on July 27, 2021, and a Windows version will release in Summer 2021.

The Kotobukiya figure of Neku from The World Ends With You is currently in development.
