Previously, information regarding the upcoming strategy RPG was exclusive to an issue of Famitsu. However, more information regarding the title is now available to the general public. This includes the release of an announcement trailer and an opening of an official website. The trailer footage highlights how combat will function in the strategy RPG. Players will utilize four different types of mechs on the battlefield. This includes an Assault, Sniper, Tank, and Scout mech. Each mech will have their own styles of movement and weapons. The game will feature an entirely turn-based system.

Additionally, a bit of the story has also come out. Described as “a fantastical space adventure that draws inspiration from Greek Gods,” Relayer will have interactions with ancient beings found within the galaxy. The scenario is set in an unfamiliar galaxy where humanity is threatened by a mysterious external force called Relayer.

Relayer will release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2021 to Japanese audiences.
