As of April 28, 2021 Monster Hunter Rise had shipped 6 million copies worldwide. This had effectively placed it behind Street Fighter II as Capcom’s best selling single platform title. However, Monster Hunter Rise has now taken that spot. And it continues to climb Capcom’s Platinum Title list. While the official list hasn’t updated as of yet, Monster Hunter Rise now takes the spot Street Fighter II once occupied. Additionally, since Capcom has plans to release a PC version of the game sometime in early 2022, the title will more than likely continue to climb up the list.

Due to the success of Monster Hunter Rise, an in-game item pack will be distributed to players. And just like before, players will be able to obtain these items by speaking to Senri the Mailman. This NPC is located in the Steelworks section of the map.

The items players will receive through the celebratory item pack are:

  • Large Barrel Bomb x10
  • Mega Armorskin x5
  • Mega Demondrug x5
  • Mega Potion x30
  • Well-done Steak x20

Monster Hunter Rise is immediately available for Nintendo Switch.
