This includes the option to play through the main scenario quests in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.4. The YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse storyline can also be replayed once Patch 5.55 arrives. Another addition that’s coming with the patch is a new emote. However, the most substantial update that will arrive with Patch 5.55 is the addition of new main scenario quests and the continuation of the Save the Queen Relic Weapon questline.

Players will be able to wear Final Fantasy XII inspired armor sets in Final Fantasy XIV through the Patch 5.55 update. The upcoming armor sets are inspired by Basch, Penelo, and Larsa. These sets will be available to obtain by participating in the next series of Save the Queen Relic Weapon quests.

Players will also be able to challenge Espers from Final Fantasy XII in a new area, called Zandor. Finally, a unique Final Fantasy XII inspired mount will release through the latest patch.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.55 will arrive on May 25, 2021.
