Sony revealed the newest additions to the Days of Play 2021 celebrations, which consist of sale games and a free multiplayer weekend. During the event, it will reduce major titles. People will also be able to play online without PlayStation Plus.
The Days of Play 2021 free weekend will take place first. Starting at 12:01am local time for people on May 22, 2021, they’ll be able to play online games for free. Normally, PlayStation Plus is required. When 11:59pm local time on May 23, 2021 comes around, the free offer ends.
While prices aren’t available for the Days of Play 2021 sale, dates and titles are. That will begin on May 26, 2021. Both PS4 and PS5 games will be included. The PlayStation Store and actual stores will participate. (The official site hasn’t updated with details yet, though.) The PS4 games included are Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and The Last of Us Part 2. The PS5 games that will be part are Demon’s Souls and The Nioh Collection. The multiplatform games included are Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
As a reminder, the first stage of Days of Play 2021 began on May 18, 2021. At each stage, people who signed up can help hit gameplay and trophy milestones. As certain goals are cleared, free PSN avatars and PS4 home themes are doled out to participants.
The Days of Play 2021 sale will run May 26, 2021 through June 9, 2021. Its free weekend will be held May 22-23, 2021.
