Leading up to the Final Fantasy XIV Digital Fan Fest broadcast, Square Enix has decided to allow online viewing of the previously announced Final Fantasy XIV art exhibition. The art exhibit was originally planned to open in January 2021, but was delayed due to concerns regarding COVID-19. Now, Square Enix is allowing online viewing of some of the pieces that will be part of the exhibit, including a Lego replica of The Crystarium found in Final Fantasy XIV. [Thanks, Gamer!]
The Final Fantasy XIV art exhibition would have displayed screenshots taken by players, and you can now view them through the online event website. Over one hundred screenshots are part of the exhibit. And, as mentioned previously, a Lego replica of The Crystarium is available for viewing. Alongside pictures of the reconstructed city, Sqaure Enix also released a special video through the Final Fantasy XIV channel to detail the creation of the replica in full. You can watch the video below.
The Lego replica of The Crystarium contains over 200,000 Lego blocks and has a special LED installation to make the crystal that makes the in-game city glow. The video goes through constructing the base of the city and even goes so far as to create Lego Chocobo and NPCs found in The Crystarium.
Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
