Arc System Works published a Starter Guide video for I-No, the final character in the Guilty Gear Strive launch roster. Although I-No is a returning character from the previous Xrd series, the Starter Guide revealed multiple changes made to her command list.
Megalomania, I-No’s Instant Kill move in Xrd, is now one of her two Overdrive moves. While it deals the most potent damage as an unblockable command grab, the move also lets I-No launch multiple projectiles at long range.
Arc System Works also changed her Ultimate Fortissimo attack, which was an aerial-exclusive super in previous games. Players can now also perform this Overdrive move on the ground. This will add an invincible leaping attack at the beginning.
The Starter Guide video also showed more changes made to I-No’s special move commands. Players can now perform Stroke the Big Tree with a quarter-circle input instead of half-circle in past titles. However, the team has removed the Punch button version of her Sultry Performance. The video did not include Sterilization Method and the vertical Chemical Love that were present in Xrd.

With I-No’s guide video published, all 15 launch characters in Guilty Gear Strive have now received their own individual guides. Anji and I-No’s videos were numbered #15 and #16 because Arc System Works used the 14th video to explain the game’s basic actions, helping newcomers get into the first open beta test in February 2021.
The two aforementioned characters will be available to the public for the first time during the second open beta test, which will run from May 13, 2021, at 10 PM ET, to May 16, 2021, at 9:59 AM ET.
Guilty Gear Strive will officially release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on June 11, 2021. Those who purchase the Ultimate or Deluxe editions will be able to get Early Access on June 8, 2021.
