People will get to try Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus via a demo before buying it. However, some people will play it before others. The company took to Twitter to announce the trial. It noted it is “coming soon.” It also confirmed that when it does show up, people will see it on the Xbox Series X first. Update: it will arrive on May 21, 2021, according to a May 12, 2021 tweet.
Unfortunately, the announcement was fairly brief. It didn’t go over what the demo might entail. As a reminder, the full game will include two separate campaigns. People can follow Kasane Randall or Yuito Sumeragi’s stories. Each one is an OSF member fighting and protecting people from The Others. However, each one is at different points in their career and have varying experiences and skill levels.
As the game’s release is about a month away, more details about how it will work showed up. For example, we’ve seen more general gameplay. People could see fights against Barrista Santa and Slippy Chinery. We also learned that you can bond with companions by giving gifts, as people could in Code Vein.
Scarlet Nexus will debut on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 25, 2021. An anime adaptation is currently in development. A Scarlet Nexus demo is also on the way and will launch on the Xbox Series X first on May 21, 2021.
