PlayStation Days of Play 2021 Registration Opens

Sony revealed how PlayStation Days of Play 2021 will work. People can immediately sign up to help every participant earn customization items like avatars and themes. There will be three stages to the event, with each one lasting about a week. If you want to get each week’s prize, you have to register before that “stage” begins. If every stage’s base goals are met, everyone gets an extra avatar and PS4 dynamic theme at the end.

The details for all three stages of PlayStation Days of Play 2021 are already available. Things kick off on May 18, 2021 and last until May 24, 2021. The goal is to play 2.4 million games and earn 7.2 million trophies, with the official site keeping track as time goes by. Everyone will get one PSN avatar and PS4 dynamic theme based on this year’s design if that goal is hit. If 3 million games and 8.8 million trophies are played and earned, there will be an additional reward involving three avatars.

The other two stages also appeared. If this is going week-by-week, then stage 2 will run May 25-31, 2021. The goal is to play 2.9 million games and earn 8.5 million trophies. Five avatars featuring characters from games like Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us: Part 2, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be the base reward that time. If people play 3.6 million games and get 10.4 million trophies, they’ll earn three more avatars.

Finally, there’s stage 3. That should run June 1-7, 2021. The base goal there is 3 million games played and 9 million trophies earned for one dynamic PS4 theme and a Kratos avatar. If people hit 3.7 million games played and 11 million trophies earned, they get three more avatars.

Here’s a trailer going over everything.

People can register for PlayStation Days of Play 2021 until May 31, 2021. The first stage will begin on May 18, 2021.
