Zhongli Poses Regally in Official Genshin Impact Wallpaper

In commemoration of Version 1.5’s release in Genshin Impact, the official Twitter account for the game posted a free wallpaper featuring Zhongli, who is the current banner five-star character. The Paimon Twitter account also changed their wallpaper to a full version of this picture, showing how it looks in action.

Though the Tweet notes that there are wallpapers, the link only leads to one picture. The wallpaper features Zhongli standing with his arms crossed, similar to the pose for his elemental burst in Genshin Impact. Meanwhile, Azhdaha stands in the background. Azhdaha is a new weekly boss who appears in Zhongli’s second story quest. Note that the Genshin Impact Twitter account is using a different version of the wallpaper for their header. The image used includes a tree behind Zhongli, however, they have not yet released this version.

Genshin Impact Version 1.5 “Beneath the Light of Jadeite” launched on April 28, 2021 and with it, a new slew of content is currently available in game. Aside from Zhongli’s story quest and a new weekly boss, there is also now: a housing system, a new four-star character named Yanfei, two new hangout events, and the Energy Amplifier Initiation event which gives a free Diona as a reward.

Genshin Impact is readily available on mobile devices, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development.
