The Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier official JP Twitter account also posted the same tweet and a Discord invitation link. This means that both Japanese and English-speaking players will be able to interact with each other on the same server.
However, currently there are no channels within the server where members can chat freely. Instead, the Discord server has two channels dedicated to linking Twitter posts from both the English and Japanese Twitter accounts. Users can also choose to follow the channel to receive immediate updates on the game.
Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier will feature shooter-style game mechanics as well as melee combat. These elements were revealed in a game trailer posted in February 2021. Square Enix announced a simultaneous worldwide launch for it sometime in 2021. Ateam, the company developing the game, stated it will add in-game transactions in line with other competing mobile games.
The official Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier Discord server can be joined immediately. Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier will be released for iOS and Android devices sometime in 2021.
