Rune Factory 5 makes its Japanese debut in May 2021, but impatient people can feast their senses on an extended tour of the town of Rigbarth in the game’s latest trailer. Viewers get to go on a five-minute stroll with Livia, Chief of Seed, the local security organization.
Here’s the new Japanese video.
The trailer is narrated by Livia and visits each of the major Rigbarth locations in Rune Factory 5. The tour kicks off at Rigbarth Station, headquarters of the local Seed division. It’s staffed by Gandage, manager of Seed, and local Seed recruits Scarlett and Priscilla. The two are also potential marriage candidates.
The Rigbarth walkthrough also visits Randolph and Yuki, the married bakers, and the restaurant run by Priscilla’s older sister Elsje and dog-girl bachelorette Fuka. Stops are made to call in on Simone, Lucy, and Julian at the infirmary, Murakumo (an eligible bachelor) at the bathhouse, the crystal shop run by Lucas and Heinz, the carpenters Palmo and Lyka, and the inkeepers Misasagi and Hina. Other Rigbarth institutions that can be visited in Rune Factory 5 include Martin and Dogu’s smithy, Terry and Cecil’s Detective Agency, Ludmila’s flower shop, and the ruins where Beatrice and Reinhard stand guard.
Rune Factory 5 is coming out in Japan for the Nintendo Switch on May 20, 2021. An exact overseas release date is unconfirmed, but currently scheduled for 2021.
