Square Enix announced its latest means of both celebrating the launch of NieR Replicant ver.1.2247448739 and the series’ 11th anniversary–art. The company shared a digital art gallery with 11 pieces from 11 artists inspired by the upgraded version of NieR. The designs feature major characters like Nier, Emil and Kaine, as well as NPCs like the King of Facade and Fyra.
People from around the world created pieces for the virtual showing. Two of the artists are based in Russia, Alex Wezta and Nikita Kaun. The French artists involved are Fertifem, Guillaume Singelin, Guy-Pascal Vallez, and Nicolas Come. The other artists are Ammo from Belgium, Francesca Pusceddu from Scotland, El Marques from Spain, Lorenzo De Felici from Italy, and Rob Bowyer from the UK.
This Square Enix’s second artistic endeavor to appear around the series’ 11th anniversary and celebrating NieR Replicant’s debut. It also called upon Juho Könkkölä to create Nier and Emil origimi figures. It shared looks at both of them, including a peek at the Nier one in-progress, in a video in April 2021.
NieR Replicant ver.1.2247448739 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC worldwide. The original NieR debuted on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010.
