The Genshin Impact PS5 release date is here, and people won’t have to wait too long to play. It will be out on April 28, 2021. That’s the same day that the game’s 1.5 Beneath the Light of Jadeite update will appear and bring new events, a new boss, and new characters Eula and Yanfei.
The PlayStation Blog offered a few more exact details about what to expect from this version. Back then miHoYo first teased it, 4K support and faster load times were confirmed. Now, it turns out there will also be enhancd textures. The announcement didn’t mention if there will be Dualsense controller compatibility.
This means only one of the announced versions for Genshin Impact is missing in action. When the game was announced, miHoYo confirmed it would have a Switch port too. That version still hasn’t shown up yet, but the company has mentioned it since.
