As for what happened, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition launched with issues that made it impossible to play with other people online in both Australia and New Zealand. As a result, Square Enix pulled the game while it repaired it. Director Araki Ryoma issued an official apology.
The game remained available in places like Europe, Japan, and North America. However, it wasn’t without its issues there as well. As a result, major patches appeared in September 2020 and December 2020.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices worldwide.
