Guilty Gear Strive Arcade Version Test Scheduled for April

Arc System Works has scheduled an upcoming location test for arcade versions of Guilty Gear Strive. Those located in Japan will be able to test Guilty Gear Strive on arcade cabinets from April 23 to April 25, 2021. The test will take place in select locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Akita. The arcade test version is an adjusted version of the open beta test that was previously held for consoles in February 2021. The available characters for this test include Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, Mei, Axl Low, Chipp Zanuff, and other characters that were previously available on the beta. However, Arc System Works can cancel this test without notice. Additionally, those interested must follow rules the individual arcade locations have set up in response to the situation surrounding COVID-19.

Outside of the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive arcade cabinet test, there are plans for a second open beta test. However, an official date for when the second open beta test will begin has yet to release.

Guilty Gear Strive will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on June 11, 2021. The Ultimate and Deluxe Editions will release three days earlier on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on June 8, 2021. They’ll include content available through an Early Access version of the game.
