Digital and Electric Temtem Await at Cipanku Island

The Temtem world is about to grow. On April 13, 2021, Cipanku Island will appear in the game. Now, we have a better idea of what that will mean for players. Essentially, the new location will be a haven for both digital and electric Temtem, marking the first island where the Digital type will appear.

Part of the reveal involved details about what people can expect from Digital Temtems. People might recall that they saw one at the outset of their adventure when facing a rival. So far one of the new ones, the character Molgu, was revealed via the official Twitter account at the end of March 2021. Others await. Also, be cautious as Digital types are weak against both Digital and Electric attacks, which are prevalent on Cipanku.

We also learned a little about how catching Mythical Temtem will work. Cipanku will be the first update to include one, and it seems they’ll be a bit like the Dens from Pokemon Sword and Shield. A group of three to five players will explore a Lair together, each person on a path, as they try to get resources and reach the Mythical.

Finally, Crema talked about how you can unlock fast travel. Once you get to Cipanku’s Neoedo, a new sidequest will unlock teleporting. You will have to pay to teleport to most places, though.

Temtem is available on the PS5 and PC, with PS4, Switch, and Xbox One versions on the way in 2021.
