New Build-a-Bear Animal Crossing Character Will Debut in Summer 2021

Right now, the Build-a-Bear Animal Crossing: New Horizon collection is rather small. Only Isabelle and Tom Nook are around. But soon, a third character will join the group. The company took to Twitter to confirm that a third character will also appear in Summer 2021.

Here’s the tweet announcing the third stuffed toy. No hints were offered as to the character’s identity. At the moment, only NPC characters have appeared in the cast, so there is a possibility it could be another person along those lines like Blathers or Sable.

As for the timing, this means the third new Build-a-Bear Animal Crossing: New Horizons character will show up just as the first two are heading to stores. When the company announced this line, it mentioned online restocks would happen after the initial launch. It also noted that in Summer 2021, both Isabelle and Tom Nook would show up in retail Build-a-Bear stores.

The Isabelle and Tom Nook plushes will return. When they do, a bundle with one of the characters, their outfit, and a sound chip that either plays the theme or five voice clips will cost $51.
