Build-a-Bear Isabelle and Tom Nook Revealed

Build-a-Bear revealed the identity of its Animal Crossing plushies, and both Isabelle and Tom Nook will head home with folks. The virtual waiting room is open for people who would like to place orders, both in the United States and United Kingdom. When orders open at 8am PT/11am ET, people will be able to head into the store when their turn comes up to bring one of these Residential Services employees home.

Details about the bundle options already leaked online. While Build-a-Bear itself only shared the initial image of characters, Wario64 showed prices. There will be two $51 bundles for Isabelle and two $51 bundles for Nook. In each case, you get the stuffed toy wearing its summer uniform from the game. The character also arrives with a sound chip installed. Depending on the bundle a person chooses, it will either play Animal Crossing: New Horizons music or “phrases” the character says in-game.

Here’s a video showing both off.

Keep in mind that if you don’t get the Build-a-Bear Isabelle or Tom Nook, the company did mention eventual restocks and a Summer 2021 retail store appearance. This is just the first opportunity to get the toys.

As for the price, this is about average for a Build-a-Bear bundle. The Pokemon Dragonite deluxe bundle cost $59 when it launched. The Mew bundle was $61 when it debuted in February 2021.

Orders for the Build-a-Bear Isabelle and Tom Nook stuffed animals will open for the first time at 8am PT/11am ET on April 6, 2021.
