Fire Emblem Heroes Blazing Blade

Fire Emblem Heroes’ Pent, Louise, and Farina Are on the Way

Fire Emblem Heroes is bolstering its roster with new characters from what many international players see as the “original” Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. The next banner goes live on April 6, 2021. Which means the Fire Emblem Heroes characters Farina, Louise, Erk, and Pent will join the cast.

The four were all revealed in a new update trailer released by Nintendo:

Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade for the Game Boy Advance was the seventh game in the franchise, but was the first Fire Emblem game to be released internationally. For years, non-Japanese players might only have known the game as Fire Emblem, until the subtitle was added.

Voiced in English by Reba Buhr and illustrated by artist Nekomochi, Farina: The Great Wing is sister to Fiora and Florina. Like her siblings, she joins Fire Emblem Heroes as a Pegasus Knight. She wields a lance and can gain the following skills:

Louise: Lady Of Violets is a colorless infantry archer. She’s voiced in English by Maureen Price and has a unique Fire Emblem Heroes sprite from artist tamagonokimi.

Erk: Studious Mage is a red tome infantry unit with some fox-shaped magic, an illustration from NA, and voice acting from Jason Frazier.

The final unit for the Fire Emblem Heroes Bond of Trust banner is Pent, the lord of Reglay, mage general, and a green tome unit. He’s voiced by Jamison Boaz and illustrated for the game by Wada Sachiko.

The new heroes will also be accompanied by an introductory story chapter titled “Treachery.” As with other New Heroes summoning events, players will be able to choose a focus Hero from the event for free once they’ve summoned at least 40 times. In addition, they’ll also receive a Celestial Stone. These changes came as part of the 5.4.0 update, which adjusted the summoning mechanics.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available on iOS and Android devices. The Bond of Trust banner will go live on April 6, 2021, the day after the April 5, 2021 5.4.0 update.
