Good Smile Company announced rereleases for two of its popular Nendoroids: Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka. Tanjiro originally released in May 2020, while Giyu was first available in January 2021. Pre-orders for the Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba figures are open now through June 3, 2021. Tanjiro is available now in the US for $55.99. Giyu US pre-orders are open until June 2, 2021, cost $56.99, and will ship in December 2021.
The Tanjiro Kamado Nendoroid comes with three face plates, optional parts, and effect parts. Fans can swap his expression between a gallant combat look, a gentle smile, and his standard expression. Additionally, Tanjiro’s black Nichirin Blade is an optional part, while the effect parts let fans pose him in two of his iconic moves. Check out the images below for Tanjiro’s First Style: Water Surface Slice and Second Style: Water Wheel recreations.
The Giyu Tomioka Nendoroid also includes three face plates, his Kasugai Crow, and effect parts. The Water Hashira’s three expressions offer an angered, surprised, and standard look. Giyu’s additional parts boast even more attention-to-detail than Tanjiro’s effects. The photos below show Giyu includes a Water Breathing effect and a sheet for his Water Breathing Eleventh Form: Dead Calm.
The Tanjiro Kamado is available now, while the Giyu Tomioka Nendoroids can be pre-ordered now. Good Smile has plenty of figures from Demon Slayer. The company recently opened preorders for Sabito, Makomo, and a Tanjiro Kamado final selection Nendoroid.
