Fire Emblem Heroes Celestial Stone Shop Is on the Way

Nintendo announced another kind of currency called Celestial Stones will come to Fire Emblem Heroes in update 5.4.0 on April 5, 2021. This new item will be acquired when someone “sparks” on banners that offer the pity mechanic, pulling 40 times until they can choose a five-star to get. People will then be able to use them in the Celestial Stone Shop for other in-game items to acquire or improve characters.

Here’s how the Fire Emblem Heroes Celestial Stones will work. Normally on banners where you can pick one of the featured five-stars after summoning 40 times, you only get the one hero of your choosing. After 5.4.0 is live, you’ll get both the hero and one Celestial Stone every time that pity mechanic triggers. You can then spend them in the Celestial Stone Shop.

The official Twitter account shared an initial Celestial Stone Shop screenshot. It showed that during a set period of time, people are limited to a certain number of exchanges of items in stock. The most expensive item in the image is a pack of 100 Trait Fruits for four Celestial Stones, the exact number you need to change a character’s asset and flaw. The second most expensive is a Forma Soul item, which costs three Celestial Stones and would allow you to acquire one Hall of Forms character you would build up during an event. The cheapest items shown are bundles of 100 Dragonflowers of various colors for one Celestial Stone each.

A number of other changes are to Fire Emblem Heroes in 5.4.0, in addition to Celestial Stones. There will be Ephemera 4 Divine Codes to earn. New Weapon Refinery options will give people a chance to get Hector: Just Here to Fight a Berserk Armads, Marisa: Crimson Flash a Shamshir, Morgan: Lad from Afar a Grima’s Truth, Quan: Luminous Lancer a Gae Bolg, and Sumia: Maid of Flowers a Flower Lance. Dithorba: Cutting Knight and Veronica: Bestowed Love will be able to be acquired with Heroic Grails. Also, Aether Raids, Aether Resort, Hall of Forms, and Mjolnir’s Strike will get updates.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available for Android and Apple iOS devices, and 5.4.0 will appear on April 5, 2021.
