Samurai Shodown Nakoruru Figure Will Appear Later This Year

The Storm Collectibles Samurai Shodown Nakoruru figure has a release window. The company took to Twitter to confirm it should appear in Q3 2021. Amazon opened pre-orders for it, and it will cost $95.

The Storm Collectibles Nakoruru is a figure along the lines of a figma or S.H. Figuarts. It is articulated in multiple places. It also comes with multiple face plates. There’s a neutral expression, a smiling one, and one where Nakoruru has her teeth clenched. There are also three hair plates, to convey action and movement. Her Makiri is included, complete with holster for it, and there’s an action part to make it look like she’s slashing.

Nakoruru also comes with her companion, Mamahaha the hawk. Like Nakoruru, this figure also has additional pieces. You can have the hawk with its wings spread or close to its body, so it can perch or look like it is about to take flight.

This is the second of Storm Collectibles’ characters in this line. It also released one of Haohmaru. Standard and special edition variants appeared for $90 each.

The Samurai Shodown Nakoruru figure will launch in Q3 2021. The latest Samurai Shodown game is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Stadia.
