People have one week left to grab the Switch version of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. As a reminder,the strategy gameis part of Nintendo’s March 2021 delistings. On March 31, 2021, it will be removed from the eShop.
There’s also an eShop reminder letting people know what to expect when March 31, 2021 arrives. While that’s when people won’t be able to buy Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light for the Switch anymore, there will still be ways to access it. People who did buy it will be able to download the game again from their list of purchases in the eShop. People with a physical Anniversary Edition that includes a replica Game Pak and download code will still be able to use the code in the eShop.
As a reminder, the Switch port of the game marked the first time the NES strategy appeared in English. While Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, the Nintendo DS remake, appeared worldwide, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light was a Japan-exclusive.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light is available to purchase on the Nintendo Switch until March 31, 2021. In Japan, the game is also available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online Famicom game library. There are even SP variants.
